You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you! Damn you all to hell! Usube is gone! Federation techs developing a new superweapon, caused a planet killing accident. After asking the Federation to stop it's weapon development, and their steadfast refusal, the Emperor declared war on the Federation. If you are in a fighter, do what you can. Some will secure the Empire, others will attack the enemy. Traders will keep the economy and the credits flowing. If you do fly a Constrictor or similar machine, get yourself some good armour, ambushes will abound.

General News
War has broken out. So far there have been very few incursions by Federation pilots into Empire space, but a few have sneaked in. The most noticeable to this point is Orsan, who disrupted trade by taking out a few DABOO traders, and also send two Imperial Paladins for pod rides in Ska. frowhite has also been seen operating around Ska and PO 4-991. Please be alert for any Federation ambushers. If you see a federation ship skulking around, report them to either The Imperial Paladins or the Imperial Guard.
Offensive actions have been quite successful up to this point. There have been very few losses to Imperial fighters and they have racked up impressive victories, but resistance is increasing as war ramps up. Neutrality is not an option, fight for your heritage, fight for the Empire!

The Union has been found again. So far relations are peaceful, and let's hope they stay that way. Some new stable wormhole's have been found as well, allowing this discovery and the discovery of an East Pardus Rim. Explorers are hard at work mapping this territory.

The Keldon Report - by Frozen
War!!!... War??? Because of the war Keldon is mobilizing it's forces and preparing to defend the Empire. A lot of pilots are selling their trading ships and are buying new heavily armed ships to fight the Federation, but until now Keldon hasn't really seen much of the war. The Federation doesn't seem to be interested in fighting and almost no pilots are attacking. The few pilots that are brave enough to enter the Empire are hunted by alliances like the Imperial Paladins and Imperial Guard, therefore I would ask all Keldons to not forget about the economy of Keldon. Surely fighters who want to help are welcome but we also need to keep a good economy, and for that we need traders.

A huge population decrease happened this week to The Emperors Hand. The StarBase is supplied mostly by me. I bring almost all the food and water to it. I managed this very well since it was in the top 20 of the biggest starbases with a population between about 100k-120k. But a few days ago my ship software got infected by a virus and I was unable to do my FWE runs and bring food and water. Although my crew worked day and night to get rid of the virus it took more than three days until the ship could fly again. In that time the population of the SB decreased to 40k. Thousands of people were leaving the StarBase. Chaos spread out. I barely managed to calm down the population. There were rumors that people died because of the lack of food and water, but that was only rumors. Everyone is safe now and in good condition. The StarBase on the other hand will need some time to gain back it's full strength. To prevent such things in the future It would be good if every pilot that passes by could bring some food and water from Urlafa.

A new corporation has been established this week in Keldon... It's called "Doorknob Incorporated" and is, as you can see from the name, producing doorknobs. The corporation has high skilled workers who are specialized in production of doorknobs and is therefore offering a wide range of doorknobs. The first factory was opened in Fomalhaut. The corporation is looking for traders who want to help in the production and in the development of the sector. The sector ha a quite good economy. It has plenty of buildings, all high level. The planet is quite big, and the nearest StarBase is in the next sector-Ackandso. Interested traders should contact aykeem... The corporation has however ended it's work during the war, it's now focusing on defending the Empire, but it will soon be operation again providing Keldon with the best doorknobs.

The Freeholders Alliance has closed down the Vewaa-Wolf MOs because of the War, pilots who want access should send a PM and ask.
