UNIVERSE AT WAR

Yesterday, the Empire declared war on the Federation. They were given little choice after Usube, not far from Imperial space, was razed by a Federation "planet buster" weapon.

Some pilots want to blame the resurgent Union for this atrocity, but obviously the Emperor did not believe this tripe.


All Empire pilots are asked to prepare themselves. Armouring tradeships is now essential. The Emp-Pass-01 and 02 Sectors are now both closed. Empire alliances are developing defence and attack plans, and some have already taken the battle to the Federation. Federation officers have already slipped into Empire space as well. Defence battle groups are being prepared, but fly warily, stick to open space wherever possible.


Going forward, This Week In The Empire will focus on war-related issues and on supporting the war effort. May the Emperor's grace touch you all and find you safe from Federation dogs.
