Volume 7

All the news that's fit to print, first!
From the Editor's Desk
Returning home from last week's sortie into Federation space was a nice pace change. It turned into a turbulent week for me though after Blade Star turned around and destroyed Ghost Town after The Imperial Guard had retreated. In all, let's hope this large loss of lives teaches us all a lesson. Trust is needed if the peace is to be maintained.

General News
Even more monsters have invaded space. Found this week were what are being called Space Snails, Solar Banshee's and Energy Sparkers. Both the Space Snails and Energy Sparkers have invaded Empire space.
In a recent announcement from the Emperor's Throne speech. Private conflicts that use deception will no longer be tolerated. If your alliance is in a private conflict, you are in it for the long haul if you are the aggressor. If you leave your alliance, be prepared to have your titles removed.
Pirates appear to have developed a new navigational threat as ships nav computers are losing range when in close proximity to pirate den's. It is possible that this is just a new phenomona as well as the same effect has been noticed in Space Dragon nest's as well. Researchers are looking into what could be affecting onboard nav computers this way, but at the moment are baffled by this sudden development.
In theological news, the Galactic Council no longer wants to hear your words. At least not unless they ask for them, or the universe is in peril. Take note, if you bother the Council with your nonsense and trivial problems, you may be struck dumb, or just struck down if you anger them with enough nonsense.

Pirate Activity
Scrotor McGrew has been picking off rookie pilots in and around Ska. He flies a commandeered Imperial Shadow Stealth Craft with 4 120MT Defractors and protects himself with Organic Armour. Pirate hunters have at him.
Noted pirate Klaus Stoertebaker of Famous Pirate has disappeared. Word is he was last seen entering an X-hole, and never came through the other side.

If you hear of any pirate activity, report it to our hotline at Pirate Hotline

New Buildings and Demolitions
Little major activity in building took place this week within the Empire.

Alliance News
A quiet week on the alliance front, no wars fought, no sector grabs although a little birdie told me that Conglomo has finished taking over the former GUA sectors in Eastern Keldon.

Interviews
We regret that there is no interview this week. A hectic week in my primary duties as a Guardsman has left little time for travelling to interviewee's areas. We should have an interview for you next week.

Just for people's clarification, the 'takeover' was really just my purchase of GUA Base (to be renamed). GUA has not been evicted in any way from Greandin.

On a further note, pilots in East Keldon requiring weapons and looking to save a few credits are welcome to PM me. I am manufacturing all Empire and standard weapons at reduced cost vs. NPC's. Cheers!
